Panama City Beach has been well known nationwide for many years as the place to go at certain times of the year for major events such as Spring Break and summertime Family Vacations at the worlds most beautiful beaches.
This section of our website is devoted to just about everything that happens here all year long. We will keep you up to date on our local seasonal events and activities to help assist you in making your vacation plans. No matter what time of year you plan to visit, there is never a lack of activities or events at the beach. This information can come in handy in two ways. For the major events you will need to plan ahead and make your reservations as early as possible due to we usually fill up the park or if you prefer to plan your trip to avoid some of the large crowds that these events draw into the community, knowing these dates will help .
To find out what's happening and when during the time of year you are planning to visit, we have featured some of the major seasonal events, activities, and holidays below. Numerous other activities and special events are always happening in our area that provide opportunities for new experiences during your vacation at the beach. October through March offers a much quieter time here in Panama City Beach, the crowds are gone until spring, the pace of life is much slower and relaxed, but there is still always plenty to do in and around Panama City Beach with great weather all winter long. Why head any further South? If you are looking for somewhere to escape the harsh winters just about everywhere north of here, Campers Inn offers a great place to spend this time. Spend the Holiday season at Campers Inn, for both Thanksgiving and Christmas we have a special potluck dinner over at Winston Hall, open to all Campground Guests and residents, bring your favorite holiday recipe and we supply the turkeys! Also begining in early December we offer about the best deal you can find on the beach for Sunday breakfast at Winston Hall.
If you didn't already know it, we happen to live in an area where Mardi Gras celebrations are just as much a tradition as they are over in New Orleans or Mobile. The local residents and Krewes are every bit as enthusiastic as can be found anywhere else! Activities, Parades, and more are planned on the Beach at Pier Park as well as over in Panama City in the Historic St. Andrews district.

For the last several years thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the East coast and beyond converge here during the first week of May for some fun at the Beach and to enjoy the great rides along the Gulf Coast in the warm spring sunshine.

The Summer season is family vacation time at Campers Inn and the rest of Panama City Beach. Come in down to enjoy the long summer days on the beach and to experience all that our area has to offer. From Memorial Day all the way through the Labor Day holiday weekend, Panama City Beach is the place to take that Summer camping vacation!
Most likely the biggest summer weekend on the Beach, Several great fireworks shows are planned for you to enjoy in the area, Pier Park, Grand Lagoon, and Downtown Panama City.
The traditional end of summer long weekend, Kids are headed back to school and it's time for one more trip to the beach to enjoy the late summer weather! Look forward to plenty of warm days and sunshine at this time of year.
Classic Cars Everywhere! Early November is the time for the Emerald Coast Cruise-In, held at Frank Brown Park which is just a short drive from Campers Inn. This is a relatively new event in Panama city Beach, it has been steadily growing and this past event was the largest yet.
